Job Description

This role involves working within a global risk management company, known for its local and tailored approach to clients’ needs in risk management. Advisors collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their risk boundaries and profit models, delivering customized hedging solutions and risk management strategies through a variety of financial products.

Responsiblities

The position includes assisting senior traders in managing market risk through the execution of swaps, futures, and options hedges. The role also requires working with the sales team to provide market quotes and handle customer orders, monitoring market movements, and maintaining appropriate risk exposure in trading books. Additionally, it involves supporting administrative tasks like settling expired trades and reconciling positions.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a university degree in fields such as finance, mathematics, computer sciences, or software engineering. A keen interest in financial markets is essential, along with fluency in English and French, while Spanish is beneficial. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and good interpersonal skills are necessary, complemented by strong mathematical and Excel expertise. A foundational understanding of financial derivatives is advantageous.
