Job Description

The company is undergoing a phase of accelerated growth due to its recent acquisitions, expanding its product offerings, especially in aseptic and containment filling lines and isolators. Leveraging its status as a leading designer and producer of powder transfer, handling, and containment equipment for the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, the company offers comprehensive solutions along the entire production chain, from raw material handling to final product packaging. With over 950 employees globally and around 120 based in its Swiss headquarters, it is seeking a professional to manage financial reporting processes. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial statements, providing insights to stakeholders, and complying with regulatory standards.

Responsiblities

The role involves preparing consolidated financial statements, handling audits, resolving audit queries, and conducting risk assessments in accounting. It also supports activities related to mergers and acquisitions, group reporting, and transformation projects, ensuring the financial reports are accurately prepared and presented in adherence to accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess at least five years of relevant experience, ideally with a background from a Big Four firm. A thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards such as Swiss GAAP and IFRS is essential. Expertise in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements is required, alongside proficiency with financial reporting software and consolidation tools. Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret financial data, including experience with financial modeling and variance analysis. Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel is important. Proficiency in English and French is required, and good skills in German at a strong B2 or C1 level would be advantageous. The ability to work effectively in a multicultural and geographically dispersed team is essential.
