Responsiblities

Your role will involve developing, maintaining, and enhancing advanced pricing methodologies and tools for Non-Life reinsurance solutions. This includes overseeing and executing pricing for both proportional and non-proportional reinsurance options. You will provide strategic insights and recommendations to underwriting and senior management, based on detailed pricing analyses. Collaborate with various teams such as underwriting, risk, and finance, to meet business objectives and optimize pricing strategies. There is also a strong focus on optimizing pricing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to continuously refine pricing models and practices is also a key component of this role.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics. A professional actuarial designation is highly regarded. Significant experience in Non-Life reinsurance pricing is essential. A high level of motivation and a balance of technical expertise with innovative thinking are crucial. Candidates should have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills capable of managing complex data and delivering actionable insights. Effective communication skills are important to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, and additional language skills are advantageous. Proficiency in programming languages like R, Python, Matlab, VBA, or SQL is expected. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
