Job Description

This position works within a renowned Swiss reinsurance company, contributing to the life reinsurance back-office processes which encompass accounting, reporting, and various communication tasks. The role emphasizes reliability and collaboration with international market experts who develop unique reinsurance solutions. Responsiblities

Key responsibilities include managing statements of account, consistency checks, and producing booking orders. The role requires monitoring cash flows, coordinating with both external and internal stakeholders to meet deliverable deadlines, and supporting quarterly closing processes. Moreover, the specialist will have to develop and document cross-functional accounting processes to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education is required. The candidate should have at least three years of experience in life reinsurance and treaty management with a strong grasp of IFRS17 and IFRS9 standards. Fluency in English and German is necessary, complemented by skills in SAP FS-RI or similar systems. The role values analytical skills, independent working capability, and an inclusive mindset regarding team dynamics, alongside advanced Excel proficiency and advantageous software knowledge like VBA or PowerBI.
