Life Reinsurance Operations Specialist – Zürich Region – Full Time
Job Description
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a specialized team in a dynamic reinsurance environment. The team is key to successful cross-functional back-office processes, focusing on accounting, reporting, and communication within a global market. As a team member, you will engage with internationally renowned experts in life reinsurance and variable annuities.
Responsiblities
– Process account statements with consistency checks.- Assist in cash flow monitoring and produce booking orders via upload files.- Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects.- Support quarterly closing activities and regular reporting processes.- Document and improve cross-functional accounting procedures.
Required Qualifications
– Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.- At least 3 years of experience in life reinsurance and treaty life-cycle management.- Excellent client communication skills with global stakeholders.- Proficient in IFRS17 and IFRS9 standards.- Knowledge of SAP FS-RI or similar reinsurance systems preferred.- Strong analytical and organizational skills.- Proficient in Excel, with additional software skills like VBA, PowerQuery, PowerBI, or R being advantageous.- Independent and reliable work ethic with strong teamwork abilities.- Fluent in English and German.
