Responsiblities

Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing client trading activities, identifying potential issues related to market conduct such as insider trading and manipulation. The role involves investigating alerts from surveillance systems, preparing reports on suspicious activities, and escalating cases as needed. The officer will maintain thorough documentation and audit trails of all reviews and investigations. Additional tasks involve assisting in regulatory reporting, communicating with authorities, and enhancing market surveillance tools. Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and counterparties is essential.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should ideally possess a Master’s degree in Economics or Law with at least one year of experience in a related financial or audit role. Holding trading licenses like SIX or Eurex is advantageous. Fluency in English and French, as well as comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and products, is necessary. The role suits individuals who are self-driven, passionate about economics, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment. The ability to manage workload independently and perform well under pressure is also required.
