As a Group Pricing and Underwriting Specialist, you will be at the core of the company’s Business Underwriting expertise. This role provides the opportunity to influence global underwriting practices, enhance local capabilities, and improve outcomes for Group Life, Disability, and Health businesses. Your work will involve developing and refining underwriting and pricing frameworks, offering expert guidance on complex cases, and enhancing pricing tools and analytics for better consistency across various markets.

Responsiblities

In this pivotal role, you will: Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Life Scheme Underwriting and Pricing frameworks. Provide expert review and guidance on complex cases and offer high-quality underwriting inputs. Contribute to the evolution of pricing tools and practices by leveraging analytics to improve consistency and outcomes. Strengthen local underwriting expertise through targeted training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Perform technical underwriting and portfolio reviews, identifying emerging risks and proposing actionable improvements.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have over five years of experience in group pricing or scheme underwriting within life, disability, and health insurance sectors. Actuarial training is an advantage. A robust background in data and analytics, with the capability to turn technical insights into clear underwriting recommendations, is essential. Experience working in international environments with diverse markets and cultures is highly regarded. A strong grasp of group protection products and scheme underwriting principles is a must. Fluency in English is necessary, and knowing additional languages is advantageous.
