Job Description

This role is within a well-respected private financial institution. The organization operates a compact yet growing office centrally located in Geneva, specializing in traditional private banking services.

Responsiblities

– Oversee everyday accounting operations, including treasury and back-office tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations.- Assess and mitigate operational and compliance risks, focusing on asset management and investment activities.- Regularly evaluate financial statements and ensure punctual submission of legal reports.- Develop and refine procedures to improve operational efficiency and implement audit recommendations.- Assist with HR tasks such as payroll, social security, and insurance matters.- Engage in various committee activities and manage projects upon management’s request.- Coordinate with the executive team to prepare documentation and reports for board meetings.

Required Qualifications

– 8 to 10 years of expertise in accounting, finance, and risk management within Swiss banking, including mandatory FINMA reporting.- Experience as a finance leader, like a CFO or as a senior figure in audit at a major firm for small banks.- Proven leadership skills, proficient in managing both teams and operational tasks.- Preferred experience within Swiss Category 4 or 5 banks.- Fluent in French, with excellent command of English and strong IT proficiency.- Preference for residents of Switzerland; cross-border travelers considered.
