Job Description

As the global leader for New Product Development projects, you will oversee the governance, execution, and optimization of our R&D landscape. You will lead a team of talented project leaders and engineers focusing on innovative technologies for electrical components in various sectors including aerospace, renewable energy, industry, and automotive.

Responsiblities

Lead the global New Product Development framework and execution. Manage and develop a team of approximately 15 engineers. Direct complex and highly innovative new product development projects. Mentor project leaders and cross-functional teams. Oversee NPD performance in terms of scope, timing, costs, and production costs. Continuously improve development environments, interfaces, and processes. Collaborate closely with business development, product management, and operations. Optional role in managing PLM processes and serving as the Jira/Confluence product owner.

Required Qualifications

An engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or comparable discipline (e.g., TS/HF, FH/HTL, ETH or equivalent) is required. Advanced technical or methodological training is preferred. Candidates should have senior-level experience in engineering or product development, alongside proven leadership capabilities. An excellent technical background is essential, alongside superior project management and analytical skills. Candidates should possess a structured, solution-oriented mindset, be team players, and have strong communication skills in German and English.
