Job Description

The company is a prominent asset manager with a strong focus on impact investments, undertaking substantial efforts in private market investing across developing regions. Their approach integrates strategies that yield positive and measurable results for both people and the environment while ensuring competitive financial returns. The investment process prioritizes impact and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, augmented by committed engagement. As of today, significant assets are under management, deployed across numerous countries, collaborating with diverse investors to facilitate large-scale capital investments.

Responsiblities

The role entails supporting business development efforts through acquiring new investors and managing existing client relationships, with an aim to build a personal client portfolio gradually. The candidate will contribute to planning and executing client outreach programs, managing sales events, hosting investor meetings, and preparing presentations. Further duties include timely and professional responses to client inquiries and reporting requests while ensuring coordination with product management and multiple internal teams. This coordination aims to deliver high-quality client outputs and involves maintaining the sales activity and client pipeline within the client relationship management system.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for impact investing, particularly within private and emerging markets. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as finance, business administration, or economics is required, though equivalent qualifications will be considered. The position requires two to three years of experience in investor relations or related sectors, with familiarity in impact investing concepts and industry standards. The candidate should exhibit a proactive, client-focused mindset with exceptional communication abilities, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced international setting. Proficiency in English and German is necessary, with additional languages being advantageous. Experience in developing countries will be considered a plus.
