Job Description

Responsiblities

You will develop software solutions in C++ for embedded and desktop applications and program low-level software for microcontrollers including ARM Cortex-M and STM32. You will work closely with the electronics team to ensure smooth integration of software and hardware. Responsibilities include managing the entire software development lifecycle, which covers analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Conducting code reviews and ensuring software quality through automated testing is essential. You will support the commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of prototypes and series products while contributing to international development projects across varying time zones and teams.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field. Several years of experience in C++ software development, particularly with modern C++ standards like C++17, is preferred. Strong knowledge in embedded programming and low-level development – including register access, interrupts, and peripheral control – is necessary. Familiarity with common embedded toolchains, debuggers, version control systems like Git, and build systems is required. An analytical and structured mindset, ownership mentality, and team-oriented working style are crucial. Excellent German skills in spoken and written forms are required, and fluency in English is necessary, with French being an advantage.
