Job Description

This position involves processing and executing various types of documentary credits transactions, including import and export letters of credit, inward and outward documentary collections, and commercial guarantees. The ideal candidate will handle an assigned portfolio of customers, ensuring efficient processing of their transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The institution is a longstanding provider of high-quality financial services with a focus on Commodity Trade Finance and Wealth Management, under the supervision of the Swiss financial regulatory authority.

Responsiblities

The main responsibilities include timely and precise execution of customer and correspondent instructions related to documentary credits transactions. The role involves providing technical advice and support to both customers and internal relationship managers and maintaining professional communications. This position also involves reporting any changes in customer positions resulting from documentary transactions to the respective relationship managers.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a mandatory or secondary school diploma, such as CFC banking or Maturity, and at least three years of relevant experience in documentary credits within a bank with a recognized profile in Commodity Trade Finance. Comprehensive technical knowledge of documentary transactions, fluency in French and English, and the ability to work independently while being well-organized are essential. In addition, the candidate should be precise, detail-oriented, and skilled in IT, with proficiency in working within a fast-paced international environment. Being a team player with excellent communication skills is crucial for this role.
