Job Description

This position requires expanding skills in operational tax matters, focusing on both technical and operational aspects related to private markets. The role of an Investor tax reporting specialist encompasses participating in the US tax compliance process annually, coordinating and examining tax returns, as well as managing ongoing US tax concerns. Candidates should possess a robust academic foundation, ideally a Master’s degree in tax or finance, coupled with 2-3 years of pertinent experience.

Responsiblities

The responsibilities include assisting with the US tax compliance process and reporting to investors, gathering necessary information for the yearly US tax reporting, providing ongoing support for US tax matters related to private equity and real estate funds, establishing and monitoring operational tax procedures and controls, evaluating changes in tax regulations, and managing ad hoc tax tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants are expected to have a solid academic background with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s in tax, finance, or accounting, and 2-3 years of practical experience in international tax matters. They should have substantial exposure to tax issues concerning fund structuring and asset management, possess analytical skills to handle multiple priorities effectively, and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset is essential.
