Mid-Level Trade Finance Expert / Letters of Credit – Zürich Full-time

Job Description

This position is with a recognized entity engaged in international trade and financial dealings, seeking an individual proficient in managing documentary instruments. It involves creating structured and secured intricate international transactions in a high-demand setting.

Responsiblities

The role entails managing the issuance, advising, confirmation, and monitoring of Letters of Credit and bank guarantees. Responsibilities include ensuring documentary compliance with international standards such as UCP 600, ISBP, ICC rules, and SWIFT standards. The role also requires identifying and assessing documentary, contractual, and operational risks, maintaining and fostering relationships with correspondent banks and international partners, and contributing to the enhancement of internal processes and team training practices.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should possess between 3 to 10 years of experience in Trade Finance within banking, trading, or financial institutions. Expertise in documentary trade instruments, compliance, and risk management is necessary. Proficiency in digital tools such as SWIFT, Excel, and Trade Finance systems is required. The candidate must be fluent in French and English, with German as a beneficial skill, along with having strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
