Job Description

Responsiblities

Develop software solutions in C++ for both embedded and desktop applications. Program low-level software for microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M and STM32. Work closely with the electronics team to integrate software with hardware. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality using automated testing. Assist with the commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of prototypes and series products. Participate in international projects across different time zones and teams.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Several years of experience in C++ software development, ideally with modern C++17 or newer. Strong understanding and experience in embedded programming and low-level development, such as register access, interrupts, and peripheral control. Familiarity with common embedded toolchains, debuggers, version control (like Git), and build systems. An analytical and structured mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a team-oriented working style. Excellent proficiency in German, both spoken and written, fluent English, and knowledge of French is advantageous.
