Job Description

The role is part of a leading company in financial services software, which is at the forefront of providing critical solutions globally in Lending, Payments, and Universal Banking. The technology supports numerous clients worldwide, contributing significantly to the financial sector.

Responsiblities

Implementing and configuring solutions for payment transaction screening, particularly focusing on anti-money laundering and sanctions screening. Being the technical advisor to clients, assisting in optimizing screening logic and algorithms. Involved in technical tasks such as accessing Linux systems, analyzing log files, configuring SFTP, and integrating systems. Leading technical investigations to enhance product performance based on client feedback.

Required Qualifications

A solid understanding of payment transaction processes, screening, and anti-money laundering environments is essential. Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and database management, and a strong problem-solving approach are required. The candidate must be fluent in English and German, and knowledge of French or Italian can be advantageous. A Bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics is required, along with substantial experience in financial services, banking, payments, or regulated fintech environments.
