Responsiblities

The core responsibility is managing and executing a range of documentary credit transactions for a dedicated clientele. This involves precise and timely handling of instructions related to all associated transactions and instruments, including non-client related business where necessary. Offering expert advice and maintaining comprehensive support for clients and internal departments is critical. Effective communication is essential, particularly in updating Relationship Managers about any changes affecting customer positions as a result of the executed transactions.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have completed at least secondary education. A minimum of three years of experience in documentary credits within a banking institution is necessary, specifically in organizations recognized for their expertise in Commodity Trade Finance. The role requires solid technical knowledge and an understanding of the applicable rules in this sector. Applicants should be well-organized, capable of prioritizing tasks, and operate effectively with minimal supervision. Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory, along with strong communication skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented, comfortable with IT applications, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, international environment.
