Job Description

This position offers the chance to become a skilled fund accountant specializing in private equity funds. The role requires working collaboratively within a diverse team comprising over thirty specialists dedicated to delivering quality service to a broad client base. The focus will be on accounting for private equity fund of funds, involving net asset value (NAV) calculations and managing valuations and cash flows. Quality and accuracy are crucial in preparing annual and ad-hoc reports. Daily interaction will occur with internal and external service providers worldwide. The role also involves participating in projects and supporting various operational tasks to enhance service delivery.

Responsiblities

Primary responsibilities include accounting for private equity fund of funds, managing NAV calculations, booking valuations and cash flows, preparing precise annual and ad-hoc reports, collaborating with service providers globally, and contributing to projects and operational tasks.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a commercial apprenticeship or higher degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. A minimum of two years’ relevant accounting experience and a keen interest in investment are required. Strong communication skills in English are essential, with proficiency in German considered beneficial. The role requires excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and analytical thinking are crucial.
