Risk Manager Specialist in Geneva Full Time

Job Description

Join a dedicated team managing private wealth in a dynamic environment. You will oversee operational, market, and financial risks, ensuring a solid control framework. Engage in diverse tasks such as independent investment risk analysis, operational risk control, and comprehensive financial risk management. Your role is pivotal in shaping a strong risk culture and contributing to effective oversight.

Responsiblities

Providing independent oversight as part of the Second Line of Defense. Tasks include: 1. Conducting independent controls of investment risks. 2. Overseeing operational risk controls. 3. Managing direct financial risks. 4. Monitoring and managing broader financial risks independently. 5. Conducting regulatory analysis. 6. Supporting the Head of Risk in reporting and auditing. 7. Training first-line control staff.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Risk Manager or Auditor in financial institutions. Familiarity with the banking regulatory environment. Strong knowledge of financial instruments and excellent Excel skills. Must be methodical, autonomous, and have strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in French and English, with residency in Switzerland.
