Job Description

This position is with a global leader in financial services software, focusing on providing innovative solutions for the financial industry. The role involves significant interaction with clients’ anti-money laundering (AML) and payment teams, offering support for configuring, adjusting, and optimizing screening solutions that play a critical role in compliance and risk management. A technical professional is required to contribute to transaction screening processes, primarily focused on AML and sanctions screening aspects, while acting as a technical advisor to assist clients in understanding the impacts of various screening outcomes such as false positives and negatives.

Responsiblities

The role encompasses the implementation, configuration, and support of transaction screening solutions. A focus will be on providing technical mentorship to the client’s AML and payment teams to help refine screening logic and algorithms. Technical tasks include access management with Linux systems, log analysis, and configuring secure file transfers. Additionally, the job requires leading technical investigations to enhance product functionality based on client feedback, offering in-depth root cause analysis and resolution strategies.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate substantial experience with payment transaction processing and AML environments, possess working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, and have expertise with SQL and application integrations via MQ, SFTP, and APIs. The ability to clearly articulate complex technical topics to clients is essential. Fluency in English and German is required, while proficiency in French and/or Italian is advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience in financial, banking, or fintech sectors is needed.
