Job Description
The role of a customer service representative is to act as a central information hub, bridging communication between various departments such as sales, technical, planning, production, logistics, and finance. The main goal is to deliver exceptional service to customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving concerns effectively, and ensuring overall satisfaction. The job involves issuing quotes, entering orders, overseeing transport logistics, invoicing, responding to emails, and various other interesting tasks. Responsibilities include managing after-sales services and maintaining accurate records within various systems.
Responsiblities
The position requires the preparation of customer quotations with the sales and technical teams’ assistance. Tasks include clarifying product details, quantities, and delivery dates with customers and sales representatives, entering and confirming orders, tracking orders diligently, and working with planning teams to align delivery dates. The role involves close coordination with finance to monitor payments and manage inventory efficiently. A strong understanding of logistics, order requirements, and schedule changes is crucial. Responsibilities also include coordinating shipping requirements, updating records, managing dispatches, and preparing export documentation for customs clearance. Responding to customer inquiries promptly and providing satisfactory solutions to issues is key. Furthermore, ensuring data accuracy in systems, entering approved pricelists in SAP, adhering to business rules, and performing timely SOX testing procedures are necessary. The role involves tracking overdue payments, ensuring correct records of dispatch dates, preparing export documents for intercompany shipments, monitoring goods receipt from production sites abroad, handling claims, and providing backup for colleagues in different regions.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have professional experience in customer service or a related field. Competence in Microsoft Office applications is required, and knowledge of the SAP ERP system would be advantageous. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
