Responsiblities

In this role, you will focus on creating software solutions using C++ for embedded and desktop applications. You will program low-level software for microcontrollers and collaborate closely with the electronics team to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware. You will oversee the software development lifecycle from analysis through design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality through automated testing is key to this position. You will also support the commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of prototypes and series products while contributing to international projects that span different time zones.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field. Strong experience in C++ software development, particularly with modern C++17 or newer, is essential. A deep understanding of embedded programming, including low-level development such as register access and interrupts, is required. Familiarity with embedded toolchains, debuggers, version control systems like Git, and build systems will be beneficial. Candidates must display an analytical and structured mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work well within a team. Proficiency in German (both spoken and written) and fluency in English is required, with French being an advantage.
