Job Description

The role of the customer service representative is crucial as it acts as a central hub for coordinating information between diverse areas such as customers, sales, technical departments, planning, production, logistics, and finance. The primary responsibility involves providing exceptional service to customers by handling inquiries, resolving any concerns efficiently, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role encompasses issuing quotations, processing orders, tracking shipments, invoicing, and responding to customer communications. Furthermore, after-sales services and maintaining comprehensive records are key aspects of the role.

Responsiblities

Key responsibilities include preparing customer quotations in collaboration with the sales and technical teams, confirming product details and delivery schedules with customers, and managing order entries and confirmations. It is crucial to follow up with the planning department on order schedules, enforce timely payments with the finance team, and manage inventory levels effectively. The representative must coordinate shipping requirements, ensure make-to-order shipments are dispatched timely, and prepare necessary export documentation for customs clearance. Daily invoicing of dispatched goods, prompt responses to customer queries, and maintaining accurate transaction records are essential. Additionally, ensuring data accuracy in the systems, adherence to business rules, and participating in system testing for continuous service improvement are expected.

Required Qualifications

Successful candidates should possess experience in customer service or related areas and demonstrate competence in MS Office applications. Familiarity with SAP-ERP systems is advantageous. Fluency in English is required.
