Job Description

Responsiblities

The role involves conducting independent prospective and retrospective risk analysis across various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investments. Responsibilities include tracking and monitoring portfolio risk exposures, including value at risk (VaR), tracking errors, and other risk sensitivities. There is an expectation to deliver comprehensive performance attribution and contribution analyses, and the role calls for collaboration with portfolio management, investment compliance, and operations to assure high data quality and punctual reporting. Further responsibilities include supporting the development and improvement of risk and performance measurement frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold an advanced degree in finance or a closely related field, with significant hands-on experience in risk management, performance analysis, or investment analytics acquired within asset management or similar financial settings. Practical, current experience in assessing investment risks and performance across diverse asset classes is crucial. Familiarity with industry-standard tools, such as Bloomberg, MSCI risk models, and Morningstar, is essential, alongside solid technical skills, particularly in Python. The role requires excellent communication skills apt for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is beneficial.
