Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Payments Consultant to be a part of our growing team in Baden, Switzerland.

Responsiblities

You will be tasked with implementing, configuring, and supporting payment transaction screening solutions. A major aspect of this role includes focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions screening. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to teams specializing in AML and payments. The role involves hands-on technical activities which include accessing Linux systems, analyzing log files, configuring Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and executing system integrations. Additionally, you will lead technical investigations and drive product improvements based on client-reported issues.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of payment transaction processing, screening, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) environments. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and database management (SQL) is essential. We are looking for solution-focused individuals who can articulate complex technical topics with clarity. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory, while proficiency in French and/or Italian is considered advantageous. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or have equivalent experience. A solid background in financial services, banking, payment systems, or regulated fintech environments is required.
