Job Description
A respected fintech entity in the financial services domain is looking for a passionate and seasoned individual to integrate as a Senior Compliance Officer. This role ensures that clients are seamlessly and efficiently onboarded and monitored, adhering to high compliance standards. A hands-on position, it involves the design, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and continuous enhancement of compliance processes. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring full compliance with regulatory requisites for all onboarded clients.
Responsiblities
The responsibilities include designing and managing onboarding processes focused on SMEs for both internal products and partners. Daily compliance activities are to be executed, ensuring all client onboarding processes are compliant. Risk evaluations, document confirmation, EDD, and issue identification fall under this role. Clients will be monitored through automated and manual processes. Decision documentation, anomaly reporting, and maintenance of a robust compliance framework are essential. Additionally, ensuring adherence to Swiss regulations and internal rules, along with compliance program development, is crucial. The role also entails supporting colleagues with compliance topics, keeping abreast with regulatory changes, and preparing reports for authorities.
Required Qualifications
The candidate should hold a degree in Law, Finance, Audit, or related areas. Prior experience in compliance within fintech, banking, or similar services involving SME clients is preferred. A solid understanding of Swiss compliance regulations is essential. Skills in KYC, AML, and client onboarding are necessary, along with a keen attention to detail and independence in operations. Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and either French or German. A professional certification in compliance would be advantageous. Experience managing compliance tools and manual reviews is beneficial.
