Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager with expertise in application engineering. The role demands a professional with manufacturing know-how, a customer-focused mindset, and a team-oriented attitude. As a renowned player in the manufacturing of exhaust aftertreatment systems for heavy-duty engines, you will contribute significantly to environmental sustainability.

Responsiblities

Project Execution and Control: Spearhead detailed management of emission aftertreatment projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks. Coordinate diverse teams including engineering, production, and supply chain for successful project delivery. Maintain project profitability and track progress, identifying risks while executing mitigation actions.Sales Support: Work collaboratively with the sales team in pre-contract stages, offering technical insights and project feasibility evaluations. Aid in preparing client presentations, technical documentation, and cost evaluations.Customer Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison for clients during project execution, ensuring all requirements are fully met and client expectations surpassed. Foster enduring client relationships built on trust and excellence in delivery.Technical Contribution: Participate actively in technical discussions and resolution of design and execution challenges, supporting the engineering team in translating client needs into viable solutions.

Required Qualifications

Completion of engineering studies (Bachelor/Master) in fields such as mechanical or electrical engineering or similar. Possess 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the marine or power generation sectors. Demonstrable success in application engineering or similar technical roles. Possess a hands-on approach, capable of multitasking and adapting in dynamic settings. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Professional proficiency in English; fluency in German and/or French is advantageous. A focus on customer satisfaction and result-driven with an ability to forge productive partnerships.
