Senior Compliance Officer Crissier Full-Time
Job Description
A fintech company in the financial services sector is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join the team as a Senior Compliance Officer. The role involves ensuring SME clients are onboarded and monitored in a compliant and efficient manner. The position requires handling day-to-day compliance tasks with a focus on KYC/KYT processes, partner integrations, and maintaining audit-ready processes. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and improving compliance procedures while ensuring all clients adhere to regulatory requirements.
Responsiblities
This role includes responsibilities such as designing SME-focused onboarding flows, executing daily compliance operations, and ensuring compliant client onboarding. Tasks also involve performing risk assessments, document verification, and enhanced due diligence. Monitoring of clients through automated tools and manual reviews is essential. The role requires documenting decisions, flagging anomalies, and maintaining a compliance framework that meets Swiss financial regulations and internal policies. In addition, developing and maintaining compliance programs, supporting colleagues on compliance-related matters, staying informed on regulatory changes, and preparing regulatory reports are integral.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Law, Finance, or Audit. Previous experience in a compliance role within FinTech, banking, or regulated financial services is valuable, with a preference for experience with SME/corporate clients. Strong knowledge of Swiss financial regulations and compliance frameworks is required, along with expertise in KYC/KYT, AML, and client onboarding. Key skills include attention to detail, ability to work independently, strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Fluency in English and either French or German is necessary, with Italian being a plus. Professional certifications such as CAS or CAMS are advantageous.
