Job Description

A premier financial entity located in Switzerland specializes in services like trade finance, wealth management, and treasury. The institution seeks a Trade Finance Specialist with an international perspective. The selected candidate will navigate intricate transactions involving documentary credits, ensuring the meticulous execution of letters of credit, collections, and guarantees in compliance with global regulations.

Responsiblities

– Oversee and manage the complete life cycle of documentary credits, collections, and guarantees for designated portfolios. – Ensure prompt and accurate execution of client and correspondent guidelines while adhering to internal and international standards. – Provide expert advice to managers, clients, and internal teams regarding trade finance operations. – Maintain ongoing communication regarding client status and transaction processes with relationship managers. – Collaborate across departments to enhance the quality and efficiency of trade finance services provided by the institution.

Required Qualifications

– Possession of a banking diploma, CFC, or equivalent commercial education. – 3-5 years of experience in documentary credits for international trade finance. – Comprehensive knowledge of letters of credit, collections, guarantees, and cross-border operations. – Familiarity with sanctions, compliance standards, and export control laws. – Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail, necessary for independent work in a dynamic global setting. – Proficient understanding of rules governing letters of credit and other trade-related documents (UCP, URC, URDG). – Proficiency in both French and English. – Candidates must have a valid Swiss work permit or fulfill eligibility criteria; relocation candidates are also encouraged to apply.
