Responsiblities

You will be positioned as a pivotal figure within the Business Underwriting unit, significantly impacting underwriting and pricing strategies. Key duties include: assisting in the formulation and execution of life insurance underwriting and pricing methods; reviewing complex casework to enhance underwriting precision; contributing to the progression of pricing mechanisms and analytical tools to standardize outcomes across various markets; enhancing local underwriting expertise through specialized training and sharing technical insights; conducting thorough evaluations of technical underwriting and portfolios to recognize emerging challenges and suggest actionable improvements.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, exceeding 5 years, in group pricing or scheme underwriting, specifically within life, disability, and health insurance sectors. Having actuarial training would be advantageous. A solid foundation in data analytics is crucial, with the demonstrated capacity to transform technical analyses into straightforward underwriting guidance. Experience in a multi-market and multicultural atmosphere is essential, alongside a deep knowledge of group protection products and the underwriting standards pertinent to them. Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills serving as a beneficial asset.
