The position integrates project leadership, technical insight, and strategic thinking to ensure delivery of enduring technical solutions in contrast to stand-alone implementations. A deep understanding of software systems is essential to guide technical decisions and maintain organized delivery while focusing on system sustainability over mere project finalization.

Responsiblities

Manage the full life cycle of software development and modernization projects; Establish project scope, set milestones, and formulate delivery plans and strategies; Handle risks, system dependencies, and impacts; Contribute to the enhancement of software delivery processes and software development lifecycle; Ensure software delivery of the highest quality and reliability; Maintain a comprehensive view of system landscapes and integrations; Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders; Align architecture with delivery requirements across various initiatives; Evaluate solutions that may add complexity or technical debt; Support design discussions and make informed architectural decisions; Encourage the adoption of scalable, maintainable, and contemporary engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

A solid foundation in software development, ideally with experience as a developer or engineer; Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, systems integration, and distributed systems; Capable of understanding codebases and assessing technical trade-offs without the necessity of daily programming; Experience interacting with multiple teams and initiatives; Familiarity with contemporary software development practices such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD is advantageous.
