Job Description

Seeking opportunities to make a significant impact? This role invites you to bring your expertise in C++ and embedded software development to innovative and cross-disciplinary projects. You will be integral in developing software solutions and working with an international team.

Responsiblities

Create software solutions using C++ for both embedded and desktop applications. Program low-level software for microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M and STM32. Work closely with the electronics team to seamlessly integrate software and hardware. Manage the entire software development lifecycle, covering analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Conduct code reviews, maintain software quality with automated testing, and assist in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing prototypes and products. Engage in international projects across different time zones.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field. Experience in C++ software development, especially with modern C++17 or newer. Proficiency in embedded programming and low-level development, including register access, interrupts, and peripheral control. Familiarity with embedded toolchains, debuggers, version control systems like Git, and build systems. An analytical and structured approach, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work well in teams. Excellent proficiency in German, fluent in English, and French skills are a bonus.
