Customer Service and Logistics Specialist Basel Full-Time
Job Description
Seeking a proficient candidate who commands both English and German, common languages in the area. Familiarity with French and Mandarin is beneficial. The role necessitates a background in the container shipping or logistics sector, with 2-3 years of customer service experience. Applicants should possess good coordination skills, a team-oriented spirit, excellent communication ability, self-motivation, and flexibility. Proficiency in computing and MS Office is also required.
Responsiblities
Responsible for daily customer interactions through phone and email. Prepare shipment quotes tailored to customer specifications. Manage bookings, and oversee equipment and space coordination. Collaborate with the documentation center for B/L instructions and ensure timely invoice and B/L issuance. Track invoice processes and provide backup for various roles, including Import, Export, Cross trade business, and Logistics.
Required Qualifications
Must articulate fluently in English and German, with an added advantage if proficient in French and Mandarin. A minimum of 2-3 years in customer service within the shipping or logistics sectors is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent coordination skills, work effectively in teams, and exhibit strong communication capabilities. Improvisation and the ability to work full time from Monday to Friday are mandatory.
